HEC Sports zonal meeting representatives

• Involve students to live healthy life through sports activities.
• Promote a planned approach for the provision of facilities and opportunities to participate in sports for the students of CUVAS.
• Provide optimum-coaching facilities for the students (Male & Female) to encourage their participation in sports at different levels i.e. Club Competitions at Bahawalpur, Tehsil, District, Division level, Inter class, Inter Department Intervarsity events, Punjab level, National & International level.
• To organize occasional celebrations and recreational tournaments arranged for the Students, staff and faculty like Independence Day Sports Tournaments etc.
• Sports are an integral part of the extracurricular activities at the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur. Some highlights of the sports agenda include league tournaments of badminton, basketball, cricket, soccer, table tennis. Apart from hostels activities, students take an active part in inter university tournaments such as cricket, badminton, tug of war, table tennis and other physical activities. The Sports department future planning also provides the enrolled students with a semester long membership of the gym, swimming pool and other sports activities.
• The sports facilities for male and female students are managed by the respective sports department. Each year competitive sports for both male and female students are organized at inter-departmental, inter-collegiate and inter-university levels in a variety of sports like football, cricket, badminton, athletic, etc. To encourage development of sports, scholarships will be awarded to the outstanding players, and winners of the sporting events are awarded prizes, trophies and medals.
