Introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal framework adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Comprising 17 interconnected goals, the SDGs provide a global roadmap to address the world's most pressing challenges, including poverty, hunger, health, quality education, gender equality, clean energy, climate change, environmental protection, sustainable economic growth, and global partnerships. These goals aim to create a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for present and future generations.
