Building the campus

The Directorate of Building and Works (B&W) is responsible for the physical campus — construction of new academic blocks and facilities, and the maintenance of existing buildings, utilities and grounds.

Its work runs alongside Planning & Development, which prepares the development plan and capital projects that B&W then delivers.

Scope

• Construction of academic blocks, laboratories and residences
• Maintenance of buildings, utilities and campus grounds
• Works tendering and contractor supervision
