Biography

Dr. Qudrat Ullah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theriogenology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2011 at The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. In 2013, Dr. Ullah received HEC Indigenous MPhil-PhD scholarship from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and completed his M.Phil. in 2013 and his PhD in 2018 in Theriogenology from The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. During his PhD, he conducted research at the Institute for Bacterial Infections and Zoonoses at Friedrich Loeffler Institute, Jena, Germany, through the HEC International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP). Dr. Ullah's research interests mainly focus on cutting-edge studies of genital infections in farm animals, such as Q fever, brucellosis, and chlamydiosis, utilizing molecular epidemiology to understand infectious disease dynamics, particularly those affecting the reproductive performance of animals. He promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains a holistic commitment to research, education, and the health of both humans and animals.
